Dennis Kirunda, who received the Long Service Award for distinguished service to grassroots’ football, created the organization in 2006. ANCUK has already received awards from the Duke of Cambridge and the FA Chairman Greg Dyke at Buckingham Palace on 7th October 2013.

The football tournament started with the aim of using football as a symbol of unity amongst African communities living in the United Kingdom. It promotes sports and supports programs that enhance health, education and young people’s talents.
The event consists of different African countries competing against each other in a football tournament. At the same time, people can enrich their knowledge about these African countries with opportunities to taste their culture through dishes, fashion, and music. The event is a great occasion to promote business amongst the attendees and potential investors.
